Leavers' Service and Celebration Tea

  On 5th July we concluded
  the final day of teaching
  for the Foundation Degree
  with a Leavers' Service
  followed by a celebration
  tea.  The Service was
  compiled and led by the
  students completing the
                                       Course.

On behalf of the students, Chris Leigh presented to
EPS a number of CAFOD charity gifts, in
appreciation of the year which had just finished.

        Today we said
        'goodbye' to Theresa
        Barber after more than
        six years' teaching
        at EPS.

Anne Inman presented Theresa with a plaque from the Wild Goose Studio as a small token of appreciation for her excellent teaching, specialising in the RCIA and the sacraments.  On a personal note, Anne thanked Theresa for the great support she had given her when she took over as director, and at all times subsequently.

We also said 'goodbye' to our second-years: (from left to right) Berhanu Bisrat, Chris Leigh, Geraldine Hibbert, Lloyd Booker and Carl Fisher.  We wish them well in their future ministries, and hope that they will continue to maintain contact through the EPS Network.

Finally students, tutors, and trustees enjoyed a lovely spread of tea and cakes, provided by the first-years.
